Organization of Ghana Virtual Assistants
stretching technology to its limit...

About Us

History

Technology has become user friendly like never before. That is why there was the need to educate the general public especially the black community on the roles of a Virtual Assistant. The idea of forming this organization, (OGVA) in Ghana is to create the awareness of the role of Virtual Assistants in Ghana and also to create the avenue for IT jobs and help promote entrepreneurship for those professionals who find themselves unemployed. We also strive to promote e-learning to the general public.

The founder of Organization of Ghana Virtual Assistants' ("OGVA"), Ernestina Edem Foli ("Tina") is a Virtual Assistant who has been providing virtual services since October 2004. Tina incorporated her Company, MED-NET ltd to offer such outsourcing services in March 2005. She is a member of the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) and currently the Virtual Office Manager for Club Vivanet Inc; based in the USA, specializing in her field of expertise (administrative support, marketing support, and customer service.)

Tina realized after joining the International forum of Virtual Assistants Association that she has benefited enormously as a developing entrepreneur and therefore decided to share her experiences by forming a similar association in Ghana to enhance entrepreneurship.
